500 / 26 / 30 / 5

500 DOLLARS of ATA/ASLC funding (as noted on website)

26 OUTSTANDING Speakers

30 DAYS LEFT to Kaleidoscope kickoff 5 DAYS LEFT to get great Conference Room Rates (Fairmont Palliser, Calgary)

Please join us … K10 - Twisting the Lens and please forward this email to any of your friends and colleagues!
Kaleidoscope 10: Twisting the Lens. Please consider attending, the ASLC is offering a $500.00 PD Grant to anyone registered to the council by April 30, 2012. If you are a member, you likely qualify.

Gail Bowen and a number of other authors are doing School Visits on Nov 1st. I have Gail Bowen speaking here, but I got to wondering if anyone still has a copy of the hints and suggestions for author visits sent out by the CBE years ago? Other school those may find those hints to be of interest.

If you wish to stay at the Palliser, they are extending their K10 Rooms rate (fabulous by the way) to Oct 5th at 9 p.m. After that our block booking rates expire. We also need some attendees to ferry authors back and forth between the Palliser and SAIT. Our SAIT colleagues (Library Technician students) will act as on-site guides but we may need people to introduce our speakers? Consider coming to our wonderful conference!

Thanks all!
